Safe travels home, 12s

With more than 700,000 12s celebrating in downtown Seattle, delays in mass transit are expected into the evening. In addition to officers assisting with traffic patrol, transit agencies throughout the region are providing recommendations for the evening commute, encouraging people to stagger return trips or continuing the celebration in downtown Seattle.

King County Metro

King County Metro buses are back on their regular routes and are operating at peak hour service until crowds disperse to accommodate the historic number of people downtown today. Sign up for service alerts from King County Metro.

Washington State Ferries

Customers returning from the Seahawk festivities should expect heavy traffic and passenger and vehicle overloads throughout the afternoon and evening hours. Please plan on multiple vessel waits and pre-purchase your return tickets.

Thank you 12s

Seahawks fans are not only the loudest fans, but know how to wait for something good. It took 38 years to take home the Vince Lombardi Trophy, so we know that the 12s can continue to show patience following the parade and rally as they make their way home. The City of Seattle and the Seattle Seahawks encourage every fan to celebrate responsibly. Extra safety patrols will be out from Seattle Police Department.

The City of Seattle Emergency Operations Center and Joint Information Center are now closed.
